"Blood Donation and Awareness" an initiative by SAYS Nepal Team completed successfully in Blood Transfusion centre, Bharatpur hospital. There were 8 SAYS team members as well as team from blood bank. At the first phase, Program was initiated on the chairmanship of SAYS regional Member, Mr. Ashish Sapkota along with the Chief Guest Ms. Meena Kharel, the founder and chairman of Ideal Homes, Bharatpur. Similarly, Emergency In charge of Bharatpur Hospital- Mr. Bishnu Sapkota, Representative from Brotherhood and Sisterhood Nepal- Mr. Anish Tripathi, OPD In charge of Bharatpur hospital- Mr. Keshav Raj Sapkota and Representative from Blood Bank - Mr. Raj Kumar Sharma as a special guests. The invited chief guest and special guests spoke about the necessity and importance of the blood donation program. The program was divided into two phases. There were altogether 39 participants on Phase I: "Awareness Program" and on phase II: "Blood Donation", there were total 32 blood donors, where 19 were male and 13 were female participants.
