Every year on June 12 the World Day Against Child Labor is observed across the world to raise awareness of the plight of child laborers world-wide. Hundreds of millions of girls and boys around the world are affected. To call to attention to the problem and to make people aware of the matter in order take action in eradicating the child labor, SAYS Team Nepal conducted a Placard display program, reaching out to the children, youth and adults of their local community. The team also visited the child-house (Montessori) and tried to disseminate the vital message that children are meant to be treasured and celebrated and that every child has the right to a good education, the right to play and the right to enjoy its childhood. No child should be working. Obliterating child labour would ensure inclusive development for all. #SAYSNepal #SayNoToChildLabor #WorldDayAgainstChildLabour2017.
