The Civic Education Team of South Asian Youth Society (SAYS) undertook a noble initiative to educate some under privileged children about the basic life skills. In 21st March 2015, the team moved to Tejgaon Farm Government Primary High School to conduct this workshop where a total of 150 children respectively from classes 3, 4, and 5 participated actively. With the assistance of the supportive school management, the workshop was conducted that included interactive sessions based on traffic regulations, basic cleanliness, first aid, hygiene factors of food (check on expiry dates), safety precautions and encouragement on public speaking. The children thoroughly enjoyed the session and took an active part in this workshop and shared their dreams, wishes and a few positive changes that they want to see in their school, community and life.
